Out of all of your friends, which one’s do you think would prefer to buy an old home versus a new one?  Of course there are the individuals who clearly enjoy history.  They visit all the museums and enjoy visiting national historic spots.  But those aren’t the only type of characteristics that would show you who would have more interest in an old home.  I would say another characteristic is those who appreciate and value unique items.  The difficult to find or repurchase items.  Obviously they would fall within the category of Historic Home ownership.

There is also the one’s who are conscience on what type of investment they make to guarantee the maximum return.  Home ownership of an older home would hold its value and do better in the market for resale.  So if these three reasons aren’t enough to persuade a modern new home buyer to consider the older ones, maybe a good old fashion story within the property would intrigue them.  As each year passes, there is more history added all around us and if you could own a little piece of history, you would be sitting on a pretty good pay day.  You can thank me later!
